The Power of Photography, National Geographic 125 Years

Annenberg Space for Photography

I was co-curator, along with National Geographic Director of Photography Sarah Leen, of this exhibition. The challenge: how to summarize 125 years of photography at Nat Geo in a limited space?

In celebration of National Geographic magazine's 125th Anniversary, the Annenberg Space for Photography in Los Angeles, California, presented The Power of Photography, a special print and digital exhibition that included two documentaries. From iconic images to portraits; landscapes to natural history, the exhibit offered a wide range of photographic genres and themes.

This edited video, produced by Arclight Productions for the Annenberg Space for Photography, explains the concept of the Power of Photography: National Geographic 125 Years.
